You can choose to manage everything yourself or invite the professionals working on the project to create their own accounts within the app. Rest assured, once they experience the ease of documenting progress and keeping you informed through the app, they'll never want to manage a project any other way again.
Challenge
Although the app's objective may sound simple, its realization involved a complex set of steps. After all, construction management is anything but easy. Our first hurdle was to comprehend the best practices of a sound construction process. This knowledge would later be integrated into the app, offering users a workflow rooted in genuine civil engineering expertise, thus setting them on the path to success. To gain this insight, we conducted extensive interviews with dozens of construction engineers. This helped us understand their operational needs and identify what we had to aim to automate in the app. Once we had a clear understanding of the construction process, our next challenge was to simplify this complexity into a user-friendly interface. The goal was to mask the intricate details while highlighting the essential information users would need when managing their projects. Real-world testing was the final, crucial step. We deployed the app on both ongoing and newly initiated construction projects to validate our assumptions. This hands-on experience led to numerous discoveries and enhancements to the app's functionality. After overcoming these challenges, we were proud to release the final version to our clients, confident that it would meet their needs and exceed their expectations.
